Precautions

Dietary supplement intended for healthy adults up to 75 years of age. Before use, it is advisable to have a blood 25-(OH)D test performed and to consult the result with a doctor or pharmacist.

The product should not be consumed by individuals taking anticoagulants that are vitamin K antagonists (e.g. warfarin and acenocoumarol).

Hair & Nails by PUROMEDICA is a comprehensive formula containing 11 vitamins and minerals as well as additional plant-based ingredients – horsetail, nettle, and turmeric. The product was developed as a complement to the daily diet of nutrients that participate in many physiological processes occurring in the body.

The condition of hair and nails depends on many factors, such as diet, the availability of vitamins and minerals, lifestyle, and individual characteristics of the body. A properly balanced diet provides the components needed for normal metabolic processes, which also take place in rapidly renewing tissues.

Hair and nails are made primarily of keratin – a protein rich in sulfur-containing amino acids that are responsible for the characteristic structure of these tissues. Components such as zinc, selenium, copper, iron, and B-group vitamins, as well as vitamins C, D, and E, also participate in processes related to the body's normal functioning.

The Hair & Nails formula has been enriched with plant-based ingredients, such as horsetail, nettle, and turmeric, which are a natural source of various bioactive compounds. These plants have been used in traditional herbal medicine for many years and are the subject of research into their composition and biological properties.

The rich composition of ingredients in the product results from the fact that maintaining the normal condition of hair and nails is a multifactorial process, dependent on an adequate supply of many different nutrients.
