MSM

MSM from Puromedica combines methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) – an organic sulfur compound – with turmeric. The product brings together two naturally derived ingredients that are the subject of numerous scientific studies concerning their biochemical and physiological properties.

MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) is an organic sulfur compound. It is one of the bioavailable sources of sulfur, an element essential for the normal functioning of the human body. Sulfur is a component of many biological compounds, including sulfur-containing amino acids such as methionine and cysteine, which participate in protein synthesis and metabolic processes occurring in cells.

In the scientific literature, MSM is analyzed in terms of its biochemical role, including its involvement in sulfur compound metabolism, its bioavailability, and its properties in experimental models related to cellular processes and oxidation-reduction balance.

Turmeric (Curcuma longa) contains curcumin – a natural compound from the polyphenol group, which is widely studied scientifically in terms of its physicochemical and biological properties, including antioxidant activity under laboratory conditions.
