Coenzyme Q10 is a molecule naturally present in the body's cells. The highest concentrations of Q10 are observed in tissues with high energy demands, such as the heart, muscles, and liver. Q10 participates in energy production processes, particularly in the production of ATP in the mitochondria.
In the body, coenzyme Q10 exists in two interrelated forms – ubiquinone (the oxidized form) and ubiquinol (the reduced form). Both forms are part of the same redox cycle and undergo continuous conversion in the body, depending on current metabolic needs and environmental conditions. Ubiquinol is the reduced form, while ubiquinone serves as a stable "reservoir" that can be converted into the active form.

The use of both forms in a single product reflects the aim of mirroring the natural levels of these two compounds and the dynamics of their conversion in the body, as well as ensuring its presence in different states.

This approach makes it possible to combine the complementary properties of ubiquinone's stability and ubiquinol's biological activity within a single product.
