Bromelain & Papain

Bromelain is a natural mixture of proteolytic enzymes obtained from pineapple (Ananas comosus) fruit and stems. Papain is a proteolytic enzyme naturally present in papaya fruit and leaves, belonging to the group of plant proteases.

As a company, we place particular emphasis on the quality and standards of the raw materials used in the production of our products. Bromelain is standardized to an enzymatic activity of 2500 GDU/g, while papain is standardized to 6000 USP/mg. These values indicate enzymatic activity — the ability of the enzymes to break down proteins — and represent an important quality parameter when selecting enzymatic raw materials.

Stable, high enzymatic activity reflects the consistency and quality control of each batch of raw material.

The PUROMEDICA project was founded in 2017 with the goal of creating ultra-pure supplement formulas specially designed for professional athletes.
